These gas stations are only in Texas!

They have the funniest things to walk around and look at.

I have actually bought Christmas gifts in a Buc Ee's.

Loving their Buc ee's.

The company is getting bigger and growing,

but we have yet to get a store close to us. 

It's a big thing when someone gets one.
The yummy goodness that they sale from food to snacks,
 and all the cutest home wares in between.

They even have Outdoor stores at some locations. 

You can buy deer feeders or deer corn. 

All kinds of clothes in Cammo. 

Not to mention grills and all things smokers.

Our favorites though,

 is trying to find the unique road signs
 with sayings on them. 

Whomever
is behind the marketing of road signs, 

is hilarious and obviously knows a good road trip
needs a good sign.

Chit, He Passed Drivers Ed...

So what gives?

The kid has to be

 begged, bribed and almost beaten bloody

to study school...
 yet he passes drivers ed with flying colors.

 I'm not surprised but damn...

So here is my thing, as you can witness for yourself,

He's not right in the head. Name me one 15 year old that is?

I am suppose to trust him with my life and the life of others,

with this stinky creature?
 I don't think knows what a toothbrush is?

Yet, he knows what a caution sign is...

The exact same creature,
whose socks was a bomb and dropped
 halfway between Iraq and Afghanistan,

the war would be over!

He will see a railroad crossing sign and know what it is.

He doesn't understand the shape, size and reason behind 

DEODORANT!

He will remember to look at the speedometer,

 but he can't remember to set his alarm!

So how am I suppose to get through this??

Then it hits me...

That's why Sonic has a Happy Hour and half

price cherry limeades at 2pm!

No wonder those bi@tches
 in the parking lot,
 waiting for
their "driving" kids

 are already smiling...

has a beer?

The only place you can buy it is in Texas. 

As a retired military wife, 

Let me tell you, 

If crossing state lines with Lonestar Beer is indeed 

against the law well....

Did ya know that not only is this a great beer but it has 

won awards Nationally. 

In 2010 it won a bronze medal at the 

Wold Beer Cup

for American Style Cream Ale or Lager..

So not only non-Texans jealous

but the world is jealous. 

At least thats what the website claims.

Teen Birthday, Boobs and Vodka

Hey all...

So it's been a rainy day today
so I haven't done much,

such the life of a "sahm"

We have a teenage birthday party to attend tomorrow.

Oh yeah! (dripping with sarcasm) 

If I just so happen to have a flask of vodka in my purse,

and said vodka makes it into my Coke
 while attending teenage birthday party...

Would that make me a bad mom? 

Obviously, I will be able to enjoy the teenagers much better,

I might join in as we are going to some trampoline sky jumpy thingy...

Actually, as I am typing this...
 visualizing myself jumping around

with teenagers, happy on a vodka buzz.
 Boobies safely nestled into sports bra.

After all,

 birthday party for a 15 year old boy.

 Now that I started out to wine,

Phone Photo fun!

Well, it's a little late for me to be posting but at this time, late is defiantly better than never.

I don't have many photo's on my phone this week, as we went on a

cruise for the past seven days so most of my pictures are on the camera that I will share later 

this week.  

This is my new bling purse that I bought just for the trip.

Had to make sure I had plenty of room for all those goodies.

Of course I needed the matching wallet!

This ship is huge....

Yes, I realize that it is the largest in the Carnival fleet, but

until I saw it in person I didn't think it would be this big!

They advertise this for the kids....

Well really, 

what more is there to say about friday.

It's about time you got here...

took your own sweet time coming.

Could the week been any longer?

I personally think Friday makes the other days drag out

so we appreciate it more.

In some ways Friday is a glamour hog...

People leave on vacation on fridays.

You go on long weekend on Friday.

You meet after work for drinks on Friday

More people go to the movies on Friday.

So seriously,

Some Cowgirl Bling

Unless you live under a rock or born within the last few years

your first thought to come to mind is or should be

This movie put Pasadena, Texas on the map and made many struggling

country stars famous. Owner Mickey Gilley had live nightly entertainment 

from the likes of Charlie Daniels to Johnny Lee. 

More famous than the entertainment was the mechanical bull. 

If you can call a mechanical bull a main character in a movie,

this bull should of won an oscar.  The whole story

line is based on whether or not you could ride it for the 8 seconds. 

After a fire destroying the original Gilley's in Pasadena many years later

a Gilley's opened in the renowned area of the Ft. Worth stockyards.

A little over a year ago Mickey Gilley suffered a stroke and is doing much better

but in an interview I saw on t.v. he claimed that his dream before he dies would be to 

have another Gilley's in Pasadena!

Oh how happy that would be!

Hey all...

Happy Monday 

Hope all is well.

I am supper busy this week so my posts are gonna
